The Corn Ling Journey to Montuno Live

Corn Ling, a talented vocalist, began her singing journey at the tender age of 8 under the guidance of a renowned singing teacher who trained local sensation (Peggy Lai). Between the ages of 8 and 17, Corn actively participated in singing competitions and lent her voice to numerous charity events, showcasing her growing talent and passion for music.

In 2008, Corn's exceptional talent was recognized when she won the Champion title in The Idol, a prestigious competition organized by Inti International University. Her remarkable performance earned her an invitation to return as a guest performer in 2009, a testament to her captivating stage presence and vocal prowess. Continuing her streak of success, Corn clinched the Champion title again in the 2010 The Idol duet competition.

Corn's musical journey didn't stop there. She founded Montuno and became a key member of a multi-cover band, enchanting audiences in various clubs and bistros across the Klang Valley. Her performances at weddings, private events, and corporate functions have further cemented her reputation as a versatile and sought-after vocalist.

Expanding her horizons, Corn competed in the nationwide singing competition 粤语好声音马来西亚海选 in 2018, where she emerged as the Malaysia regional champion and secured a spot at China's top 8 global finalists later on at 粤语好声音 (全球). This achievement highlighted her versatility and international appeal.

As of now, her aim and focus along with her team of bands is bringing great performance and joy to large crowds of corporate event with passion that shines through every performance, Corn Ling continues to captivate and inspire audiences everywhere she goes.
